While stuck in isolation with COVID (on it a bit later), I finally got to sorting pictures from our PCS to Yokosuka. Couple conclusions came to mind - there are really cool places worth visiting on West Coast of Japan, 6 days journey was a bit rushed and I take lots of cat pictures :)

If you want to see the list of places that captivated us - have a peak at week 25.

Couple news rippled their way into my quarantine - back in the Russia, Navalniy came back and was arrested which is making more people to get awareness of the current political situation. In the USA, we woke up to a different and hopefully brighter day as Joe Biden along with VP Kamala Harris were inaugurated and sweet mittens of Bernie Sanders blessed the internet.

It's been almost 10 days since I showed symptoms of what felt to me like a minor cold, I'm happy to report that it feels like I'm recovering nicely. Honestly, the worst part of this whole virus was the uncertainty and runny nose after the swab test.

It's quite ironic how we got to stay quite active all the way up till this winter without catching COVID and finally nailing it after pretty much being in isolation for 2 weeks and none of close contacts having it... Ultimately I'm just grateful for not having to worry about the roof over our heads, or where our next meal will be coming from or care options for us or the little one. Half way though our second ROM since the beginning of the pandemic and I'm so ready to step outside and be in the nature...
