Let me just state that I love a lot of things about the company from the quality of clothing, their stores to the community outreach that they do. But today we are talking about mats. Right now I have the thinnest in their collection: the reversible (un)mat, it's 1kg, 3 mm thin and runs 180*66cm long&wide. The price of the mat is 48$. I got mine just in time for my trip to Russia so I could really test it out. Going through the airports was no problem, I had it with me in the cabin and carrying it around didn't add any unbearable weight. So on that note we'll start with cons ✅: 1️⃣ super light weight! 2️⃣ the surface of the mat is so soft to touch and very pleasant to lay on while in savasana, a resting pose. 3️⃣ great selection of colors so you can truly express yourself 4️⃣ very easy to clean, I use my homemade mat cleaner with a wet rug 5️⃣ maintains the shape very well - no folding corners, at the same time- super easy to roll it

The list of cons ➖ is very short for me: 1️⃣ due to being so thin I have to use extra padding like a rolled blanket or another mat underneath because it's too sensitive on my knees 2️⃣ the surface gets scratched pretty easy and you will eventually get spots from your toes which makes me more personal? 😉

Conclusion 🌳 I did some research on the mat and read other reviews on Lululemon's website and people were saying it has a rather noticeable smell, well, it's made out of rubber so it'll obviously but will wear out and in my opinion it doesn't smell but rather gives you a sensation that your mat is still new for a long time. Also some yogis were saying that it's slippery in a hot class. I've not tested it in a hot studio but when I do break sweat in a regular class settings, I've not slipped yet, not even a little. As matter of fact, after talking to some friends and yoga teachers, I decided to invest in a black Lululemon mat or also known as the reversible (big) mat. I'll post the updates on it once I test it out. Happy practice, my fellow yogis!
